Emotional Freedom technique (EFT)
EFT is a tool to assist in releasing the emotional impact of life’s stressful events on the body-mind system. EFT sometimes referred to as tapping works by bringing a specific emotion or event to mind and using the fingertips to tap on the body meridians points so as to help the negative emotion to be released and bringing the body’s energy back into a balanced state.
This technique is a powerful tool used in coaching to help shift the emotional responses to events and allow the energy system to come back into balance. Clients have felt significant change in the anxiety, grief and anger associated with negative life events and were therefore able to start seeing new reality and alternatives to the way things were.
